It's a massive undertaking, and is probably the biggest change the neighborhoods will see until the possible open-world of The Sims 5. Lilsimsie has gone through and renovated a majority of the lots in the game, and has created dozens of new families to live in them - all while keeping with the theme of the various neighborhoods. While not technically a mod, the Simsie Save from lilsimsie is a complete overhaul of the The Sims 4 worlds. It's not the most user friendly mod, as much of its power is hidden behind console commands, but the website has some good documentation to help find everything. MCCC gives players a variety of ways to kill their sims, something that The Sims 5 needs. MC Command Centre by Deaderpool gives the player the ability to do just about anything they want in The Sims 4. It's a small detail that adds up to a huge change for the motivations of sims. No more will a mean sim decide to have a flirty conversation for seemingly no reason instead, they'll be downright unpleasant to everyone around them. In this mod, everything a sim does is driven by their personality - all the way down to the topics that they chat about. The Have Some Personality Please! mod by PolarBearSims tries to tackle the same problem as Slice of Life, but from a slightly different angle. It definitely blows the recently introduced (and official) "Kits" for The Sims 4 out of the water. For example, a few negative events in a row will build upon each other, leaving the sim in a very bad mood that will take more than just one comfortable chair to cure. A sims' experiences will have a more realistic impact on their moods while using this mod.

Slice of Life is a huge mod, and a must-have for simmers. That's the major component of the mod, but it also adds things like acne, phone apps, a menstrual cycle, a sickness system, and new professions. The mod adds a massive Personality System to the game that influences how sims interact with the world around them, based on their traits and skills. It's a tall order, but it more than fills it. The Slice of Life mod for Sims 4 by KawaiiStacie promises to add more drama and interactions to The Sims 4. Some of these modders' creations rival those major expansions - both for quality and quantity of additions. As The Sims 4 continues to get major content updates from EA in an official capacity, a huge number of fan-created mods have been added.
